| At South Coast Electric Bikes, we love seeing excited adventurers out on the roads and trails living their best lives on our e-bikes. A lot of people are nervous though when buying an e-bike because they're not sure how much to invest (will they love it or will the novelty wear off?). So we've partnered with Studio19 Rental, to bring you Rent and Ride, a rental plan with genuine flexibility to rent for as long as you like. |

Six months. Unless you have purchased the equipment, you are required to continuerenting for six months. After that period, you are welcome to return the equipment. If you choose to return the equipment during the minimum rental period, you will need to pay the balance of the rental charges of the minimum rental period.

Payments are debited on a set date each month from your nominated bank account or credit card (Mastercard or Visa). If the date falls on a weekend or public holiday, the payments will be debited on the next day.
All bikes rented from South Coast Electric Bikes come with a free 90-day check, meaning we will take care of any required adjustments FOC within 90 days of purchase. The Rent & Ride program assumes normal wear and tear for the rental period however it is the responsibility of the renter to return the bike in good working order, meaning some repairs may be in order at the time of return. Repairs are not covered by the Protection Plan. Servicing is at the discretion of the renter based on the level of performance they wish to gain from their rental.
Good idea! Insurance is available through Studio19 Rentals at the time of application. Insurance is calculated at $5 per $1000 of retail value per month. Eg. A $5000 e-bike costs approx $25 per month to insure. Please refer to Studio19 for the most accurate quotation on your chosen rental.
You sure can! You can apply to Studio19 Rentals to buy your bike outright at any time. Even after hiring it for just one day.
Contact Studio19 Rentals to advise them that you are no longer wishing to rent the bike. Following your notification, present the bike to South Coast Electric Bikes.
Yes. If you choose to return your bike, it must be returned with all the original parts that were on the bike.
